At Lakeside Youth N Kids Pediatrics, we believe in the power of laughter. We believe that raising children should be a joyful experience for the children and their parents. We believe in a team approach to healthcare, and we are here to provide you with the latest and best guidelines for your family. We are delighted that you have entrusted us with the care of your loved ones.
The art of raising children can be a long and arduous road. And we are passionate about making this journey a little easier despite the unavoidable bumps along the way. We see kids from birth to well into their teenage years, and check-ups are geared towards education and preventive medicine to ensure health and growth for your loved ones. Our clinic is equipped for providing sick care to your young ones should the need arise, and we strive to educate and inform using the most recent developments and most up to date recommendations.

Meet Dr.LANCE
Lance Lazatin, or Dr. Lance, as his patients fondly call him, is known to have a very hands on approach in every encounter. His rooms are always filled with laughter, and he is usually on the floor with the children immersed in the experience.
He has a burning passion for asthma and pediatric obesity, and has both spearheaded and served as the community’s champion for these causes.
He finished his residency in K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital , NJ, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He moved to Boston, MA and, while doing fellowship training for pediatric rheumatology in Floating Hospital for Children, TUFTS University, he decided to practice general pediatrics in the area. He has served as a community resource for immunizations, asthma, and childhood obesity through lectures, camps, and grants.
In February 2012, he moved to Colorado and established himself as a popular pediatrician in the Broomfield area. He is now starting his own practice in the Lakeside-Wheat Ridge-Highlands region, hoping to bring his passion closer to home in LoHi.
He likes weightlifting and playing rugby in his spare time — a self-confessed closet meathead.

We absolutely love LYNK! Both Lance and Holly are wonderful doctors and are the kind of doctors who are truly meant to be pediatricians. They're great with my daughter and genuinely care about her and her wellbeing. They also truly care about the parents. We felt so taken care of as new parents and were super comfortable asking them the many questions that arise with a newborn baby. I love having access to the app they use where I can message a doctor questions and pictures. Thank you, LYNK!

October 6, 2023Dr. Lance is caring, attentive, intelligent, and responds quickly to questions or concerns. He has an obvious passion for what he does. The other providers at LYNK Pediatrics are also incredibly knowledgable and I would feel comfortable bringing my newborn to see any of the providers here. Unfortunately, I'm moving out of state and think it will be very difficult to find a comparable pediatric clinic to take my child to!

We love this office. We have been seeing Dr Holly since our daughter (now 16 months) was born, and the care has been awesome. Always answer our questions and talk through concerns, and it’s very handy to have the Spruce app. As a first time mom it’s been great to have a pediatrician that’s a mom herself too.

July 6, 2023If you are looking for a small pediatric practice, this is an excellent one. Dr. Lance (Lazatin) has provided great care starting the morning of my son's birth. We also saw Dr. Hollie (Benz) and she was great too. We mostly see Dr. Lance and he is very knowledgeable, helps educate others in pediatrics. Having resources such as the Spruce app have been so good in helping calm my first time mom anxiety. All of his referrals (especially the lactation specialist Elizabeth Carder) have been amazing. He clearly cares about kids and families and even though we have moved out of the area we commute to LYNK for our son because they provide such good care.
