Dr. Abby
Abby’s Work Experience
I completed my pediatric residency at the State University of New York Downstate Health Science Center in Brooklyn, where I fell in love with caring for children and supporting families from all backgrounds. After training, life brought me to Colorado -my husband’s home state – where I’ve been practicing pediatrics in the Denver metro area ever since. Over the years, I’ve cared for newborns just starting their journey, busy toddlers, anxious school-agers, and teenagers figuring out who they are. My work has included everything from everyday illnesses and behavioral concerns to supporting kids with complex medical needs, and I’ve been honored to build meaningful, lasting relationships with the families I serve.
Why I love what I do
I truly love being a pediatrician. Kids bring genuine curiosity, honesty, and joy into every visit – whether it’s a toddler showing me their new shoes or a teenager opening up about something important. I’m passionate about whole-child care: their physical health, emotional resilience, development, and the wellbeing of the whole family. It’s a privilege to walk alongside parents as they celebrate milestones, navigate uncertainty, and grow more confident in their role. Some of my favorite moments are the ones in between – the tiny victories, the shared laughter, and the trust that builds over time.
My Hobbies
When I’m not in clinic, you’ll most likely find me with my husband and our two toddler daughters – usually outside, exploring Colorado, or just embracing the joyful chaos of life with little ones. They’re the reason I love what I do.
